Can you please tell me whether Reiki energy is healing from God? Also, is it like the laying on of hands? Is it okay for a Christian to practice Reiki?

The origins of Reiki come from Asia and have no connection to any power God has given to followers of Christ. Reiki practitioners claim to use spiritual “energies” to heal. However, they are of demonic origin rather than from God. Although those who practice Reiki would deny such origin, they are simply being deceived by Satan. There has always been a counterfeit to whatever God does and Reiki is one of them. The laying on of hands as practiced in the Bible is a symbolic act only. The person who prays in faith for another has no power in their hands. Instead, it is God Himself who does the healing. Therefore, it’s wrong for a Christian to practice Reiki or to be treated by it.
