This has always bothered me: Since there are so many religions, how do I know that Christianity is the correct religion? Is there any evidence or a logical answer? Please tell me anything you know.

That’s a good question and you can be sure God will help you with the answer. I can tell you from my own experience that I asked God to reveal the “truth” to me, since I too wanted to know what was the right way. As far as “logic” is concerned let me explain it this way. The difference between Christianity and other religions is that in Christianity, God came to man. He did this by sending Jesus Christ to die on a cross in order to purchase forgiveness for our sins. Our part is to repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness. Other religions teach that it’s by our “good works” or by becoming a better person that we are accepted by God. However, this is man’s idea of how to get to God. So where is the logic? It seems obvious there’s a lot of sin in this world and since God is Holy it would therefore necessitate the need of a Savior. That is, a way for man to be forgiven by a Holy God. God’s provision was Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life” – John 3:16.
If you can admit you are in need of God’s forgiveness and are willing to ask Jesus to forgive you then He will! You can also ask Him to reveal Himself to you so that you can know you’re following the right way. If you decide to make this decision let me know.
