What Can I Do to Stop Sinning?

What will happen to a person that repents for a sin committed and then after repenting goes back to that particular sin again? Can God accept that person after he has repented again? I have the zeal to serve God whole heartedly, but my conscience is not clear. What can I do to stop sinning? When I do what I am not supposed to do, I will repent and say I will not go back, but at the same time I will go on sinning. What can I do? I want to serve God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength completely.
Congratulations on your desire to serve God with all your heart. If you are a born again Christian, it isn’t unusual to struggle with sin. No one is perfect. In fact, the Bible says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” – I John 1:8. The right thing to do is to confess your sins to God and He will always forgive you. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” – I John 1:9. The way to overcome sin is to live in the power of the Spirit. The Bible says, “live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature” – Galatians 5:16. The key is to keep yourself strong spiritually. You do this by reading your Bible daily, talking to God and singing spiritual songs. Also, you need to avoid the things that feed the sinful nature such as certain TV programs, movies and music. The Bible says, “be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” – Ephesians 5:18-19. The Bible also says, “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” – Philippians 4:8.
