Hi, Rev. I watch the news on t.v. all the time and see the world falling apart. Is this the end of times or does this just happen year after year? Also, when you sin does this keep you out of heaven? I do ask to be forgiven.

What you see on TV. about the world falling apart is what the Bible describes as the “beginnings of sorrows”.  The Bible talks about multiplied earthquakes, tsunami’s, wars and so on. Along with that, a lot of moral decay. Sounds a lot like now eh? The difference between these events in the past and what will happen in the end times is that they will be on the increase like never before. This is what we are seeing now. For example, not all earthquakes are reported by the media, but earthquake stations record them happening everyday!

The important thing for us now is to be right with God. The way to be right with God is to have our sins forgiven by Jesus Christ and to know Him in a personal way. Sin will keep us out of heaven. Therefore, it’s our responsibility (and privilege) to ask Him to forgive us. It’s my prayer that you will take this step and become a follower of Jesus Christ before it’s too late.
