Dear Reverend. If heaven is perfect how did Satan sin? I assume there is no sin in heaven. Satan had to know of sin. Why did God allow Satan to sin?

It’s true that Satan or Lucifer as he was called was an angel of God. The Bible teaches that pride was Lucifer’s sin. However, none of God’s creation (angels or men) were made without having a free will. Just as the angels had a choice to worship God or not, so we also have a choice. Satan accepted sin over perfection because he wanted to be equal with God. God allowed him to sin in order not to violate his free will. In the same way, God wants people today to love and worship Him freely and not as robots. That’s why he created us with a free will as well.
